EL PASO (2023)

full length play -- writer-director & co-creator

In spring 2022, I was met Maria De Los Angeles, a born-and-raised El Paso actor. She and I re-worked her initial idea about a play regarding the El Paso shooting in 2019, and I added new characters and wrote the full length play. EL PASO was my first full length stage play that I co-created, wrote, directed, and produced. We staged the world premiere at the Zephyr Theater on Melrose Ave as part of the summer 2023 Hollywood Finge Festival.

On reccomendation of the National Hispanic Media Coalition, I was invited to apply to Lori Erickson's (VP of Casting at CBS) CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge. I was accepted into the program. Over the summer of 2022, I directed this five minute short for the LA non-profit Feast For All.
